Integrated new e-commerce site, brand refresh and redefined communications channels for the UK's biggest medical practice supply specialists

PSUK are the UK’s biggest medical practice supply specialists, with over ten years’ experience, their unrivalled buying power make them uniquely positioned to offer the most up-to-date, innovative purchasing solutions from the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers. Maximising the profitability of their membership through a holistic range of supply and support services… from pharmaceuticals to medical equipment, from office stationery to free training events.

Despite this level of success, independent research had found that their brand lacked the recognition and cut-through expected from a market-leading organisation, membership communications were piecemeal and inconsistent and their key e-commerce site was underperforming. It was clear something needed to be done and a mutual friend recommended Guerilla.

Meetings with the PSUK team allowed us to identify and prioritise key areas where we could make the most impact, beginning with refreshing and repositioning the underperforming brand, redesigning the identity, expressing their vision, defining values and personality around a powerful new concept, “your practice… made perfect”.

Secondly, we worked with the PSUK marketing team to review and redefine communications channels and key events as part of an ongoing marketing strategy and a brand toolkit of guidelines, digital assets and document templates was created to enable the in-house design team to begin implementing the new identity.

New e-commerce site for PSUK

A integrated new e-commerce site was key to the success of the project, allowing PSUK to communicate their offer to potential customers as well as secure members area’s with multiple access levels. Increased online sales was a key success indicator, so we improved the user experience with intuitive design and simplified navigation. We introduced multiple calls-to-action, driving traffic to the e-shop and designed a new, simplified checkout process and automated discount system.

The site also featured new personalised account dashboards, so account details, order information, online statements and dynamic financial data could be easily accessed, along with notification alerts, events and training information making it a valuable online tool for members.

PSUK can now count over 70% of all UK dispensing practices as members, with the new website taking, in excess of £600,000.00 in orders every month at the time of writing.
