We are excited to reveal the arrival of The Lakes Distillery in Newcastle International Airport’s World Duty Free. We join The Lakes in celebrating the launch of Steel Bonnets and ‘THE ONE’, their award winning classic blended whisky into all World of Whisky Stores throughout the UK. The new range compliments their well-established gin portfolio including Elderflower Gin liqueur, Lakes Gin, Lakes Explorer and Rhubarb and Rosehip Gin liqueur.
For the launch, the Lakes Distillery secured Newcastle Airport’s ‘Contentainent’ area, the first ever drinks brand to ‘takeover’ this section, which included a multi-screen visual wall and retail space to be built upon and branded.
Guerilla supported the Lakes Distillery launch at World Duty Free; designing, managing and installing the month-long installation. The challenge here was to recreate the same high-end, luxury feel, with a look that complemented both sides of the distillery’s offering, that Guerilla had established at previous exhibitions, into a longer-lasting retail fixture.
