Insight From Our Youngest Account Manager

I started my career aged 16 after leaving school and eager to move straight onto the career ladder. My first role was for 12 months as an Admin Apprentice and that gave me a great start. The role could not be extended so I made the decision to go back into Education where I attended college for 12 months and gained a qualification in Mechanical Engineering.

From there I obtained a position within the print industry where I immersed myself in a busy office environment, taking on new challenges. After 18 months of hard work and dedication, I became the first ever apprentice to graduate and I progressed to the role of Client Services Executive. This was a role I thrived in and had a real ‘buzz’ and enthusiasm to make a difference. After 2 productive years, I moved into the role of Business Development Executive for an exciting 12 months.

Fast forward towards the end of 2018 and I was ready for a new challenge and experience to further push my skill set and broaden my industry experience. This felt like a natural progression in order to further succeed in my career. After several extensive and exciting conversations with the management at Guerilla I was thrilled to have been offered the position of Account Manager.

Aged 22 years old I confidently accepted this offer with real excitement for the new opportunity to develop in a fast-paced, dynamic agency environment.  So far, two months down the line it has appeared to have been a great decision for me and I am constantly learning and growing with the company.

I look forward to many successful years at Guerilla and doing my bit to make a difference.
